The Harvard Rest Haven was opened
in 1972 and the Harvard House began
operation in 2001. Both facilities are
owned by the city of Harvard and are
managed under the direction of an
advisory board appointed by the city
council.

The Harvard Rest Haven and Harvard
House are committed to the provision
of high quality resident care and
services in a homelike environment.
The individuality of the residents is
recognized and they are invited to
make choices and participate in the
care and services they receive.

The Harvard Rest Haven has adopted
the "Ideal Nursing Home Concept" as
of April 1, 2005. It is comprised of 37
licences beds.
